How much does it cost to do a wedding in Cuba?

The price of a wedding is always conditioned by several aspects: The economy of the couple and the relatives, the expectations that they have for this day, number of guests, among many others.
Once you have decided that your wedding will take place in Cuba, it is vitally important that you inform yourself about the procedures and the necessary documentation to make your connection on the island. As well as the costs of these.

In Cuba, Cubans and foreigners resident or not on the island can marry. Of course, they must always present, regardless of country of origin or residence: Birth certificate, identity card or valid passport.
There are other documents that must be presented to carry out your wedding in Cuba, but these will depend on your marital status, for example: if you are single then you will present a certificate of singleness, faith of life and status or sworn statement authorized by the Notary. It is very important that you have clear the date of the wedding when requesting this document since it has 6 months of validity once issued.
If you are divorced, you must present the Literal Decree of Divorce or a copy of the notarial deed. In this case, if you are a woman and have been divorced for less than 300 days, you must present the Medical Certificate that certifies whether or not you are pregnant.
In the event that you or your partner are widowers, it will be necessary to present the Marriage Certificate and the Death Certificate of the ex-spouse.
Finally, if any member of the couple is a minor, they must present the authorization of both parents.
A very important detail to keep in mind is that if your documentation is not in Spanish, you must have it translated and legalized at the Consulate.

What other services should you consider?

Once all your documents, translations and others are in order, it is time to think about the services or notary fees to carry out your wedding in Cuba. These range from the Instruction of the marriage file, its formalization and delivery of two marriage certificates, which has a price of 525.00 cuc, to the protocolization of the certificates provided for the formalization of the marriage act, whose value is 100.00 cuc.
There are other services that depend on the request of the couple such as: immediacy, which is the formalization of the marriage in 24 hours, which has a cost of 75.00 cuc to which stamp stamps will be added for a value of 100.00 cup (equivalent to 4 cuc). If you need this service, you must request it and pay it immediately.
Each couple can choose where to carry out their wedding, be it  in the notary headquarters
to private homes, hotel rooms, restaurants, beaches, farms. In the second case, you must take into account the payment of the notary and constitution outside of headquarters, which has a price of 100.00 cuc if it is during working hours and 150.00 cuc outside of it.
The wedding ceremony is another of the essential aspects in the realization of a wedding. Economically speaking, this aspect is not far from the other countries. The prices of each wedding ceremony will depend on the number of guests, the chosen place and, of course, the sumptuousness with which this event has been planned.
To find the ideal proposal for your needs, the recommendation is to consult the Wedding Packages, honeymoon packages, and the different types of weddings with services included such as first class buffet, wedding photographer, and honeymoon accommodations. Choose the location of your dreams: be it a beautiful estate on the outskirts of the city or a beautiful white sand beach, a medieval castle or the most luxurious hotel rooms, modern or old residences, tours of vintage cars, etc.
